Happy Holiday!

Hello All! It's freezing here in New York with the windchill putting temps at -1. Brrrrrr!!! At times like this, I miss L.A.!

A busy week ahead....last minute Christmas shopping, wrapping, physical therapy, a visit to my actupuncturist, getting my hair done (a top priority!), etc, etc! I'm soooo looking forward to a few consecutive days of festive food and drink, starting this Saturday eve. in NYC at a party at the new Lebanese restaurant Ilili! Belly dancin galore; it should be fun!

Get your holiday groove on if you haven't already. This season only comes once a year; be sure to enjoy it!

Cookbook fundraising update

Our cookbook recipe catagories have changed and are now as follows...

We need your submissions, so checkout http://www.fundcraft.com/, use web I.D. 14060-07XK, and follow the simple instructions to get your recipe published!

Fundraising cookbook- Get your recipe published here!

The Pine Bush High School Academy of Finance and the Amy Alexander Foundation have teamed up to create and publish a cookbook to sell as a fundraiser, and we want your recipes!  The categories in the cookbook are as follows;

 

• Recipes for Singles- 45
• Recipes for Students- 45
• Recipes for Busy Mom’s- 45
• Recipes from FDNY- 45
• Recipes from local restaurants- 45
• Recipes for pets- 20

 

Each category will contain a balance of recipes that are healthy/vegetarian, comfort food, spicy and desserts, so please keep that in mind!:) The recipe submission deadline is November 15, 2007, and can be done three easy ways…

 

1.  go to www.fundcraft.com, log in at the bottom right on the homepage as member 14060-07XK, no password necessary, and follow the directions for recipe submission
2. email recipe to amy@spinaltimes.org
3. fax recipe to 845.744.6150

Summer Update 2007

Holy hottness! It's a steamy 95 degrees here in New York, but we'll take tank tops over turtlenecks any day! Lots of exciting things marinating...Sept 21st is the 9th Annual Amy Alexander Golf Outing and we are looking forward to another sold out event...you can download registration forms at www.Spinaltimes.org...Amy's manuscript, 'Life At Breakneck Speed,' is getting some attention by people in the publishing industry that make things happen...a four letter word was mentioned, but we cannot yet reveal what it is, as it's marinating in yummy energy and prayers! Stay tuned, and we'd love to hear from you!

Amy Alexander Golf Outing
